Participate and Make a Difference
To celebrate the launch of the fund, GovLoop will donate $1.00 for each new government professional who joins GovLoop between Nov. 15 and Dec. 15. The process will be community-driven. GovLoop members will submit charity recommendations, vote for their favorite causes and the total amount will be donated to the winning charity. You can participate at govloop.com. govloop.com.

- Invite all the government employees you know to join GovLoop.
- Tell them to submit or vote for a charity or non-profit organization.
- Make sure to give to CFC, join the CFC dialogue and participate in the other fine drives that are going on now.
More about the AwesomeGov Fund:
We are still defining the projects and initiatives (and we intend to engage you in determining next steps), but the key is that we want to give away a meaningful amount of any revenue we generate from the site to achieve our ultimate mission: connecting and improving government.
The purpose of the fund is to:
- Support the people in government and their efforts to do good. Fund monies will be used to encourage:
- Training and education
- Good government programs
- Effective government communication with the public
- Nonprofit work
- Organizations that support government
- To engage the public sector in giving back to the community.
- To utilize the premier government social network to build awareness and support of giving back to the community.
