Still Looking for NYE Plans? Start Your Night By Volunteering @ First Night Boston!

The Civic Engagement Subcommittee of the ONEin3 Mayor’s Advisory Council would like to pass along a unique volunteer experience on New Year’s Eve for Young Bostonians. First Night Boston is seeking volunteers for a few remaining volunteer opportunities to serve as Ushers (to assist with information at both indoor and outdoor sites.)

Most of the shifts end early in the evening, so you can have an exciting, fulfilling volunteer experience and still have plenty of time to go out on the town or take part in your own plans! Volunteering at First Night Boston will mean performing an important community service at one of Boston’s signature events, at a time when affordable family entertainment in more important than ever.

First Night is grateful for the generous support of its hundreds of volunteers, many of whom come back year after year, with groups of family, friends or coworkers. It takes a lot of volunteers to stage an event as big and spectacular as First Night, which welcomes over 1 million people to the city to see the work of over 1,000 visual and performing artists.
