JPMG News

I think just about everybody is back in town now after a great summer
of adventures. I apologize for riding off into the sunset myself,
but an opportunity popped up to go back and work at my summer camp
and I jumped at the chance. What a gift to be living in a cabin on
the lake for the summer and getting paid to take boys hiking and
canoeing all summer. It was also a much needed hiatus from cell
phones, internet, email and news. I will put a link to some photos
below if anyone wants to see what the camp is like.
I know some JPMG events happened and quite a few people got together
for various hikes, beach trips, BBQ’s and bike rides which is great.
It also seems like it would have been tough to get all the events in
that we planned as so many of you were off in a hundred different
directions this summer.
I will update our website ( http://jpmensgroup.com ) this weekend but
meanwhile there are a couple of things to bring to your attention.
Beer Tasting Event: Keep it or reschedule?
I got back in town on Sunday and I’m in the process of weeding
through a mountain of emails and phone messages. I just noticed that
we have an event set up this Friday at 5:30 (the latest tour) after
work for a Beer Tasting Tour at the Sam Adams Brewery with a dinner
to follow at Doyles. I need to follow up with both venues tomorrow
(wednesday) and find out what our options are. I don’t know how many
of you were planning on this but my fear is that most of you have
plans for Friday by now. I will send out another email once I have
spoken to the Brewery on Wednesday. Meanwhile, if you were planning
on this for this Friday and would like to attend click the rsvp link
for that event on our calendar page. (if there are enough people
then we will keep the event as planned)
Mixer for guys who just moved to JP:
JPMG is planning on organizing a mixer for all the guys (and there
are a lot of you) who recently moved to JP. Many of those are new to
Boston too. If you are new to JP and would like to attend this mixer
please click the RSVP link on our calendar page. A date has not been
selected yet but it will be later this month. This is an excellent
way to meet other guys who are also new to the area in a smaller
setting than our regular monthly gatherings.
JPMG 1 Year Party:
I am looking for 3 or 4 guys who would like to help plan the party
for our first anniversary. If you are interested email
bob@jpmensgroup.com
I look forward to catching up with everybody this fall.
It’s great to be back in JP!
Best,
Bob Linscott
